The genesis of Beacon Collaborative was a clear need for review of medical information for the legal teams of indigent clients facing criminal charges, and I continue to be deeply committed to this work. A benefit of my case review is that with the understanding of the medical issues at hand, I am able to provide experts with a narrower scope of the case to review. Ultimately this saves legal teams money, and allows for broader access.

Beacon Collaborative is an approved medical expert provider with the Colorado Office of the State Public Defender, as well as the Colorado Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel.

The need for support on civil rights cases was born out of the work in indigent criminal defense. My focus is on clients with civil complaints currently being evaluated by civil rights firms, or whom are already represented. Primarily I work with firms whose clients would not otherwise be able to retain counsel using their own resources.
