BEACON has selected 12 patient safety and quality issues for it is initial focus. Several of these issues were a part of the IHI “100,000 Lives” campaign (AMI, RRT, CLI, VAP, MedRec, SCIP), the others were selected because of the significant impact that improvements will have on patients’ lives Beacon has selected 12 patient safety and quality issues for it is initial focus.
