Excel for Quality Improvment: Beyond the Basics
A hands-on Excel class designed to further quality improvement efforts.

Going beyond the basics in Excel,
this full day of training will enhance participants'
data analysis skills and data display techniques
Prerequisites:
• Completion of "Excel for Quality Improvement: Basics for Beginners"
• In absence of completion of the above-mentioned course, participants should have a working knowledge of Excel, with the ability to navigate, filter/format/sort, insert simple functions (e.g. MEAN, SUM), and graph data
Learning Objectives:
1. Datasheet design/tips, including the use of pull down options and data validation
2. How to analyze and display data using Pivot tables and graphs with auto filters
3. Use functions/formulas beyond averages, e.g., IF, MIN, MAX, STDEV, ROUND
4. Understand how Excel handles time
