Strategies, Steps and Sustainability For Successful Outcomes
This meeting will provide a forum for presentations, discussion and peer-to-peer sharing on three focused initiatives, HAPU, Sepsis and Falls. Don't miss this valuable opportunity to learn from other hospitals, incorporate their experiences and then further your own program's success.
Highlights Include:
A 'staff nurse driven' HAPU program where unit champions are known as 'Wound Warriors'. If your employees say, "we can't do this because our patients are so complex," then you will want to come and listen to the Stanford Team who has demonstrated that HAPUs ARE preventable and effective TEAMS will succeed.
A workshop style approach to sepsis care while exploring your experiential learning for holding the gains to reduce sepsis mortality.
All hospitals are encouraged to ensure registration of their initiative leaders and frontline staff who are currently working diligently to prevent harm and improve care.
